Farm to Vase

What’s our farm philosophy?

  • We’re trying our best to test and implement as many organic pest management and fertilizer techniques as possible.  But sometimes we get frustrated and don’t use our words and we fight a little dirty.

  • Flowers are cut every Friday morning of the growing season, then we split the cut flowers into groupings for bouquet subscription fulfillment and for our booth at the Saturday morning Old Strathcona Market.  Florals don’t come much fresher than that!

  • We offer a true garden to vase experience.  The bad news?  You may get a bug sneak in with the flowers.  The good news?  Since the flowers are grown in Strathcona County the likelihood of the bug being capable of killing you is extremely low.  Happy squashing.
